Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!
We had a good Christmas this year~ Our first one living here in Twin Falls in 3 Years! That means no traveling! But we still didn't sleep in our own bed! I had to work Christmas Eve then we had a delicious Christmas dinner made by Brandons mom at his Grandparents home. Then we spent the night at his parents and read the Story of Christ's Birth before setting out cookies for Santa! It was so fun with Addison this year because she actually understood the concept of Santa and was really excited! Luckily she isn't old enough to wake us up at 5 in the morning for presents.. we had to wake her up! When she saw all her presents she just walked around quietly, I don't think that she believed they were really hers! We had a big Christmas moring breakfast and talked to Elder Blake Nielsen on the phone! (he is in the St. Louis Mission) That was a treat~ and then we rushed over to my parents house to catch Elder Andrew Harding on the phone from the Adelaide Australia Mission! both elders are doing awesome! and we love then so much!
At the Harding home we opened a few more presents and played games after a big Christmas Dinner! (I bet I gained five pounds at the very least in two days!) Brandon and I are both blessed with generous and wonderful families! And we can only attribute all of our blessings to our Saviour Jesus Christ. Especially at this Christmas season~ on our Christmas Card I put the quote, "Wise Men Still Seek Him" and as for me and my home.. we seek Him.

Christmas is such a beautiful time but unfortunately there are sad times that also arise. Willa Dean Nielsen, Brandon's Grandma suffered a massive stroke a few days before Christmas. This has been a terrible time for his family. She is such a wonderful person that help establish his great family. She is still in the hospital minimally resposive. We hope and pray for the her progress. It was just sad not to have her home for Christmas. We miss you Grandma!Addi loves her aunt Jazzlyn!

This is our Christmas tree before we distributed all the presents! I think that it is pretty cute!

On Christmas day.. Bryce discovered how to suck his toes!! He is constantly sucking his fingers and now his toes! It is amazing how flexible those little stinkers can be~ he is so cute! I didn't take many pictures on Christmas BUT I have plenty of video.. so I'll have to put up a clip of Bryces first Christmas~ and his toe sucking!

I am so sorry to hear about Brandon's grandma! I am not sure if you have looked at our blog yet but my mom suffered a severe stroke as well these last few days. She is doing remarkably well. I can understand how your family is feeling. It is such a scary frustrating time. To many questions with so few answers. I will pray for your grandma and your family as well. I will be thinking of your often.

Sounds like a busy Christmas jumping from family to family. That is so awesome that you live so close to both families.

I love the toe sucking. The little ones are soooo flexible, sometimes I wish i was that flexible. I remember Zach started doing that around 1year. I thought that was a little old for sucking toes, but cute.
